One thing that helped us is the episode of Ni Hao, Kai-lan called Lulu’s Cloud–Chickadee LOVES Kai-lan, and the “try it you might like it” message has been an easier reminder for me.

I’ve been backing up a bit with mine, since they are stubborn and encourage each other. It used to be that if they didn’t try something at least once, it would come back to haunt them the next meal…which started to lead to full-on rebellion.
